Usually there is no benefit to using high frame rate cameras in ANY-maze unless your animals move extremely fast.
Most cameras that work with ANY-maze provide 30 frames (images) per second and even for cameras that support higher frame rates, ANY-maze will set the rate to 30 frames per second by default (although you can easily change this if you wish). For most tests in which ANY-maze is used, such as Open field, Plus-maze, Water-maze, etc. this is more than adequate and working at a higher frame rate just requires the computer to do more processing for no real benefit.
If however your animals do move fast, for example a rat that is running, then you might want to use a faster frame rate.
