Occasionally, users have experienced prolonged loading or saving times when using ANY-maze. This makes ANY-maze appear to ‘freeze’ or ‘hang’, and Windows may report that ANY-maze has stopped responding. This issue is often caused by interference from external software, particularly security or cloud-based backup programs.
It’s important to note that having any of the following software installed does not automatically mean you will encounter this problem. However, if you are experiencing difficulties with loading or saving files and have any of the software listed below, we recommend temporarily disabling it to see if the issue resolves. If the problem disappears, you may have found the cause and will need to run ANY-maze on a machine without that software. If the issue persists, re-enable the software and reach out to ANY-maze support ([email protected]) for further assistance.
Software known to occasionally interfere with ANY-maze:
- Google Drive – Cloud-based storage service
- Digital Guardian – Data protection and malware prevention software
