No, ANY-maze is only available for Windows.

That said, ANY-maze can be installed on a Mac using Parallels, though this comes with some known issues. During installation in Parallels, you’ll be notified that this setup isn’t officially supported and has been known to damage experiment files—particularly when loading them from outside the virtual machine. You’ll need to accept this risk before proceeding.

To minimize risk when running ANY-maze in Parallels, we suggest:

  • Saving the ANY-maze experiment file to the C: drive within Parallels (rather than the Mac’s hard disk)
  • Avoiding Parallels for data acquisition
  • Keeping a copy of your experiment file to open in Parallels—this way, if the file becomes corrupted, you’ll still have a backup on your Windows machine

While we can’t provide direct support for Parallels itself, we’re happy to support ANY-maze when run this way.
